In WINK, services can be created as non-inventory products that patients can purchase or book through the calendar. Services may include offerings such as frame adjustments, frame repairs, PD measurements (where permitted), or frame selection appointments.

What Is a Service?
A service is a product that does not represent a physical inventory item.
Examples of services include:
- Frame adjustments
- Frame repairs
- PD measurements (where regulations permit)
- Frame selection appointments
- Other non-eye exam appointments
Services can be sold on invoices and, if configured, booked directly through the WINK calendar.
Create a Service
- Navigate to:
Suppliers → Eye Exams and Other Services → New - Complete the required fields:
- Name
-
Retail Price
- Leave this field blank if the price varies depending on the service provided.
- Specify whether the service can be booked in the calendar.
- Click Save.
The service will now be available for use within WINK.
Appointment Booking Options
If the service can be scheduled through the calendar:
- Enable the option to allow calendar booking.
- Open the Appointment Settings tab.
- Configure whether the service can also be booked through Online Booking.
This allows patients and staff to schedule the service according to your clinic's workflow.
