What Is a General Rx Note
A general Rx note is a default message that prints automatically on all applicable prescription documents generated from WINK, including:
Final prescriptions
Contact lens prescription notes
Medication prescriptions (EMR)
Using a general note helps ensure important information is consistently communicated to patients across all Rx printouts.
Setting Up a General Rx Note
To configure a general Rx note for your store:
Go to Company > Store > Practices/Stores.
Select the appropriate store location.
Click on Rx Printout.
Enter the default note you want to appear on all Rx printouts.
Once saved, the note will automatically be included on all applicable prescriptions generated for that store.
