The eye-ruler 2 application is a standalone measurement solution designed for use on an iPad. It is developed specifically for Essilor Eye Care Professionals and enables precise frame fitting measurements when used with the dedicated eye-ruler hardware kit.
When combined with the required kit, the iPad can be used to capture the following fitting parameters:
• Distance pupillary distance (Far PD)
• Fitting height
• Wrap angle
• Pantoscopic angle
• Vertex distance
• Reading distance
Important Information
The eye-ruler 2 application is intended exclusively for Eye Care Professionals with expertise in personalized lens measurements. The application requires a specific eye-ruler kit, which must be ordered separately from Essilor. The app will not function without this kit.
The eye-ruler 2 application is compatible with iPad 3 or newer models. The optician is responsible for purchasing the eye-ruler kit directly from Essilor at their own expense.

Installation and Configuration Guide
1. Download the Eye-Ruler 2 Application
Open the App Store on your iPad.
Search for “Eye-Ruler 2”.
Tap Download to install the application.
2. Activate the Application
Open the Eye-Ruler 2 app.
Enter the login credentials provided by Essilor to activate the application.
3. Connect Eye-Ruler 2 to Wink
Go to the iPad Settings.
In the left-hand menu, scroll down and select Eye-Ruler 2.
Under the “Export” section, choose WINK as the ordering system.

Enter the following credentials (Please request WINK support team for the following infos):
Username: PMSID_CompanyName
Password: STOREID
Import the measurement into your customer worksheet
After selecting the lenses and lab from the worksheet, click on the GoDigital/Eye-Ruler 2 button located at the top of the page. Then click on import to select the measurement to add to your worksheet.
